‘Iberia Antiqua - Still Life Painting’ is a new series of still life oil paintings and collages based on a unique collection of 3000-year-old Iberian artefacts housed in the Museo Municipal de Valdepenas, in Castilla La Mancha, Spain.
Drawing from my 2018 residency at the Museo, my compositions depict a small selection of artefacts from the collection that captured my heart and imagination, together with some unusual pieces from the same period, discovered on travels through south-east Spain.
